About Angry Veteran Sailing
Amidst the struggles that plague many Veterans, a group of disabled Veterans came together with a mission to help those who feel trapped in their own homes. We understand the barriers that prevent fellow veterans from venturing out into society, whether it be financial constraints, social anxiety, physical disabilities or difficulty connecting with others. Veterans long for a sense of normalcy and the chance to break free from the shackles of anxiety and depression that weigh them down.
With unwavering dedication, we offer weekend fishing trips on a sailboat as well as weeklong sailing vacations as a means of escape and rejuvenation. Snorkeling, fishing, and learning to sail are just a few of the activities designed to provide relaxation and a much-needed break from the everyday struggles. Together, we strive to give these Veterans the opportunity to embark on a journey towards healing and peace, knowing that these heroes deserve nothing less for all they have done.
At A.V. Sailing we are striving to be able to pay for as much as we can for all Disabled Veterans. What we are offering is all meals on the boat, staying on the boat, lounging, fishing and limited snorkeling equipment, safety equipment, and all operating cost will be payed at a prorated rate.
